NNA - Minister of Health Wael Abu Faour issued on Tuesday a decision stating the interest of the Ministry of Public Health to activate and organize the work of the National Committee for the donation and transplant of human organs in Lebanon, based on the suggestion of the Director General of the Ministry of Public Health.
Accordingly, it is forbidden for any person or any party to do any work under the title of donation and transplant of human organs and tissues before taking the approval of the Committee of Organ.
Every relevant conference to be held on the Lebanese territory must also be under the auspices and the supervision of the National Committee for the donation and transplant of organs.
